The analysis of fruits and vegetables for residues of plant protection agents (ag chem) and nitrate, before the products reach the stores and the consumer is getting more and more important.

In the past samples of fruits and vegetables have mostly been taking after harvest. Samples were mostly taken from the warehouses, or even when the products already reached the shelves of a retailer. The upcoming problems are obviously: partly products that did not fulfill the quality regulations reached the shelves of a retailer being undiscovered. To prevent this, today a lot of sampling and testing is done pre harvest; in case of discovered problems the product can then remain in the fields for a couple more days, until residues have been reduced to an acceptable level.

By using pre harvest testing the observance of the legal limitations of residues and also individual levels of a retailer can be ensured. Only products that fulfill all quality specifications reach the retail world and the consumer. Expensive and image damaging recalls can be avoided and the trust of the consumer can be strengthened.

Our service contains the development of the entire process based on your specifications, managing the sampling process and shipment of samples to a lab, as well as the release for the harvest when all made specifications are fulfilled. We guarantee you a neutral and independent sampling. Analysis is done by recognized and independent labs - all QS certified. Sampling can be done in the field, as well as after harvest from the warehouse. Sampling takes place 7 days a week. The samples will be taken after making an appointment with the farmer, to ensure as little interruption of the production process as possible. Our partner labs work 7 days a week and are able to deliver results within 48 hours.
